Description
Jerry Brown is a 1943 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College, now Oklahoma State University, and has been named an OSU American Indian Alumni Society Distinguished Alumni. She talks about her Chickasaw heritage, childhood, and college experience. Brown discusses her military service and her career in education as a teacher. She comments on how there was not a very big Native community at any of the schools she attended or in places she worked.
