Jerry Butterbaugh, a 1969 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) majoring in philosophy, talks about his childhood and his journey to OSU. He explains changing his major from engineering to the humanities and how that opened a new world of education. Butterbaugh discusses his student activism and his membership in the Friday Afternoon Tea and Glee Society (FATAGS). He describes some of the insightful conversations he was a part of and how this time period was really challenging in many ways for many people. He shares his personal thoughts and opinions on philosophy and on this period of turmoil. Butterbaugh goes through his career in business and talks about how the critical thinking skills he learned while a student impacted his business career and life.
