Joan Franz was born in Corn, Oklahoma, in 1935. Archie Franz was born in Kansas but moved to Colony, Oklahoma, when he was two years old. Joan and Archie are both descendants of Germans from Russia. In this interview they talk about growing up in a Germans-from-Russia community and about the traditions that have been kept alive over the years. Today they reside in Corn, Oklahoma.
