Description
Champion roper Joe Beaver discusses his life and rodeo career. In 1985, he won the Calf Roping Rookie of the Year and the first of five World Champion Calf Roping titles. Beaver was inducted into the Rodeo Historical Society's Rodeo Hall of Fame at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in 1995, and was presented the Ben Johnson Memorial Award in 2014. This oral history was filmed at the National Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
