Joe Taron, born in 1931, is a 1952 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College (OAMC), now Oklahoma State University, and a 1959 graduate of the University of Missouri’s dental school. He recalls his time at OAMC and how his career path changed. Taron discusses his longtime involvement with rural water issues in his home county and talks about his role in the development of the Wes Watkins reservoir. He explains the importance of educating people to conserve natural resources and how his Christian faith has played an integral role in his life.
