Description
Joel Horlen, a 1959 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) majoring in physical education, recalls spending much of his youth playing baseball and deciding to play baseball at the college level for OSU. He shares memories of teammates, of Coach Toby Greene, and of traveling to and from various games. Horlen also talks about the 1959 season where OSU won the NCAA Baseball Championship and about his career as a pitcher in Major League Baseball followed by coaching in the minor leagues.
