John Giles, born in 1946 and a lifelong resident of Vinita, Oklahoma, describes what it was like to work at the filling stations adjoining the Glass House Restaurant on the Will Rogers Turnpike from the mid-1960s until 2002. He recalls memorable customers and events as well as pranks pulled by co-workers. John also talks about the details of his work through the years including the transition from full-service to self-service filling stations.
