Description
Johnnie Diacon talks about growing up with the influence of Creek and Cherokee culture, and how he helped his father paint signs around northwestern Arkansas. A Muscogee Creek citizen, he received his artistic training from Bacone College, University of Arkansas, and the Institute of American Indian Arts. He discusses his creative process, artistic inspirations, and his mentoring from great Native artists throughout years of practice and training.
