Description
Jon Cavalier, fourth-generation owner of the Cavalier Farm, spoke about the history of the land and its original settlement in 1829 and then later by the Cavalier family in 1905 as part of a Cherokee Indian allotment program. At the time of the interview Jon was using his portion of the land to grow feed for cattle and manage a poultry farm.
