Cleo Stiles Bryan was born in 1917 in Snyder, Oklahoma. For a short time Cleo taught school in Marietta, Oklahoma and then in 1939 she began a thirty-five year career with Cooperative Extension, retiring in 1973. Following retirement, Cleo would go on to publish three editions of her cookbook, Seems Like I Done It This A-Way (1976, 1980, 1989). Cleo Stiles Bryan passed away in 2001. In this interview, her stepchildren Karan Tygart and Kyle Bryan reminisce about her life, career, and the accolades she received.
