Karl Oltmanns 02/10/2012

Karl Oltmanns was born in Payne County, Oklahoma, in 1929 on a farm west of Stillwater, and later his family moved to Glencoe where he graduated high school in 1948. After high school Karl accepted a job at Hull Motor Company, a Dodge dealership, before entering the military and returned to the dealership when he completed his tour in 1957. Hull Motor Company was sold to Paul L. Burch in 1960 and Karl continued to work for Burch until 1978 when he purchased the dealership and changed the name to Oltmanns Motors. In 1992 he sold the company and retired from the business.
