Description
Kathryn Taylor was elected and served as Mayor of Tulsa from 2006 to 2009. Under her leadership the BOK Center was completed, City Hall moved into a new building, and Tulsa weathered a devastating ice storm. After a busy term in office, she was appointed by Governor Henry to serve as Chief of Education Strategy and Innovation for the State of Oklahoma, a position she held from 2010 to 2011. She was inducted in the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2011.
