Description
Kathy Boyd, third-generation owner of the Heard Farm homesteaded in 1903, discussed the history of the land and the family that claimed it. In 1983, Kathy and her husband Jack took over the management of the farm after having worked on the farm for nine years. The original farm produced wheat and milo, which has continued to be the main products through the years.
