Tulsa filmmaker, poet, and artist, Keith 'Sneak' Daniels, talks about his upbringing in North Tulsa and early interest in the world of cinema. He discusses some of his directorial projects including 'Riverside' and 'Reparations' as well as the process of finding his own personal style of filmmaking. Sneak criticizes the misrepresentation of African American families in popular films and his desire to showcase Black love in his work. He explains why he wants to stay local to focus on Tulsa’s African American culture and heritage and comments on the success of the recent 'Tulsa renaissance' of Black arts movements over the last decade. Sneak opens up about his goals and visions as an artist and offers some personal advice, stressing the importance of always looking upward and staying positive.
