Dr. Ken Crawford, University of Oklahoma emeritus regent’s professor and co-developer of the Oklahoma Mesonet, discusses his role in conceptualizing and creating the Oklahoma Mesonet. He talks about his educational and career path, his work as a meteorologist and research scientist. He also recalls lobbying for funding for the Mesonet, the impact of the climate network, and some of its uses over the last twenty years.
