Kristi Eaton, a freelance journalist with roots in Tulsa, Oklahoma, recalls her youth and how she became interested in writing. She talks about her early work that took her out of the United States and shares some of the lessons she has learned from experiencing other cultures. Eaton discusses the type of stories she as covered as well as her writing process. She describes publishing her first book, 'Main Streets of Oklahoma: Okie Stories from Every County,' and talks about potential future projects.
