Description
Born in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1949. She served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 1992 through 1998. She was the first woman in Oklahoma to run for Governor on a general election ballot in 1998, and in 2004 she was a nominee for Lieutenant Governor of the State of Oklahoma. She is owner and CEO of Policy and Performance Consultants, Inc., a counselor, and professor at the University of Oklahoma. She was inducted in the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2011
