Leona 'Cissie' Parker, wife of Oklahoma A&M College alum Gene Parker, recalls living in Vet Village on the campus of what is now Oklahoma State University in the 1940s. She describes the environment of the village, the jobs Gene had to supplement his GI Bill, and the hutment they called home for three and a half years. Parker also talks about Gene?s career in secondary education and family.
