Description
Luther (Luke) Walker is a 1950 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College (OAMC), now Oklahoma State University (OSU), with a degree in chemistry. Born in 1925, his college education was interrupted in 1942 by World War II. Walker recalls his first semester in college as well as his return to college. He talks about joining Phi Delta Theta, being reactivated for the Korean War, and deciding to have a military career. Walker shares a few of his military experiences and what went into his decision to retire just shy of thirty years. He describes his second career as a skeet shooting judge and talks about his life after the service.
