Marvin Keener, faculty member and administration at Oklahoma State University (OSU) 1970-2009, recalls his youth in Alabama, his educational path, and how he came to be at OSU. He discusses his interest in math, his involvement with OSU's math department, and the projects he helped develop as a faculty member. Keener also touches upon his administrative positions and his role in making applications for OSU to be awarded a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
