Description
Mary "JoAnn" Matthews was born in 1945 in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma in the Chilesville-Clayton Chapel area near Boley. After a few years, her parents moved the family of four to another neighboring community of Boley known as Rusk, two miles west of Boley. She lived there until she graduated from Boley High School in 1963.
