Description
Mason Mungle, a 1970 and 1972 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with degrees in Animal Science, recalls growing up on his family’s dairy farm, working with his parents and grandparents, and learning to care for the land. He talks about attending OSU and explains his journey to becoming a member of the Atoka County Conservation District Board. Mungle discusses his work on the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, 1986-1997, and the various environmental programs available during that time. He shares memories of other commissioners and impactful conservation supporters across the state.
