Mel Potter discusses his life and rodeo career. He was inducted in the Rodeo Historical Society's Rodeo Hall of Fame at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in 2005 and, that same year, he was presented with the Ben Johnson Memorial Award. This oral history was filmed at the National Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
