Description
Mike Millard attended Oklahoma State University (OSU) from 1993 to 1999 and was active in the student LGBT association and Gay Speakers Bureau. He recalls his time as a resident assistant in the Kerr Drummond dorm and serving on the executive board of the Residence Halls Association. He shares memories of various campus activities highlighting LGBTQ+ issues and his experience creating and manning a campus helpline. After completing bachelor's degrees in psychology, English, and elementary education, Millard discusses attending grad school at Emporia State University and his career as a middle school teacher.
