Description
Mike Moore, born in 1942, and Martha Moore, born in 1950, shared memories of their parents who owned the Tex Carson Show, later the Carson & Barnes Circus. Mike held various jobs such as elephant caretaker, performer, candy butcher, prop boss, water man, sideshow canvas boss, and later management tasks. Martha did numerous things for the circus such as horseback riding, engraving jewelry, taking tickets, picking up trash, walking the tight wire, and performing with Mabel the elephant.
