My Phan is a young Vietnamese woman. Ms. Phan speaks English very well for someone who is learning it as a second language. She is from Saigon, Vietnam’s biggest city by population. Ms. Phan described it as the 'big city', which she says is what people from the rural areas call it. Before coming to Tulsa, My Phan lived in Dallas, Texas where she met her now fiance. She currently lives with him and his parents. Besides Dallas and Tulsa, My Phan has also visited California and Orlando, Florida. My Phan is a wonderful person and a joy to be around. Her insight and the information she gave about Vietnam was very interesting. Hopefully, she will enjoy the rest of her time in Tulsa and at TCC.
