Odessa Ivery shared stories of her family's past with slavery and rural living as well as her childhood chores on the family farm. Mother to six children, Odessa recalled the ways in which she raised and loved her children. She also talked about her experiences of segregation in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and race relations in general.
