Pat McCauley 06/09/2010

Pat McCauley was involved in the nutrition programs of the county extension service in Oklahoma for many years. She talks about her childhood and when realized she wanted to pursue a career in teaching home economics. She explains her educational path and how she first got involved with the Expanded Food and Nutrition Program. She describes some of her responsibilities in this program and how she worked with other women to teach nutrition in rural areas. She mentions some of the specific people she has worked with over the years and how their cooperation made this program thrive. She discusses some particular memories and experiences of hers during this time and what she took away from this job when she retired. She also comments on the changes she has noticed in the home economics field and in nutrition in general for people today.
