Patrick Wheeler, 2004 graduate and facility manager for the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) at Oklahoma State University (OSU), talks about his involvement on the CEAT and OSU COVID-19 Incident Management Teams as a logistics section chief. He discusses his responsibilities as the logistic section chief on both teams and ensuring that there was a steady supply chain of personal protective equipment available for the Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. Wheeler discusses the decision to be involved in this effort after being diagnosed with leukemia in 2020 as well as the overall impact of the incident management teams on keeping the campus community safe during the pandemic.
