Description
Paul Bavousette joined the Marine Corps Reserve in 1948 and was activated in 1950 and sent to Korea. He discusses life on an attack transport, landing on the beach on Inchon, and moving toward Seoul, Korea. Bavousette recalls losing friends, the bitter cold, and eating spam. He also describes various battle engagements and his role, including heading north toward the Chosin Reservoir and making it as far as river where the Treadway Bridge had been.
