Description
Raenell Vernon was born in 1924 two and a half miles west of Tipton, Oklahoma, to Luke and Lillian Hasley Boyd. She recalls riding the school bus to school in Tipton beginning in the first grade. She graduated in 1942 from Tipton High School, and married Robert Vernon in June of 1942.
