Description
Richard and Ralph Dreessen discussed the Dreessen-Smith Farm, homesteaded in 1889, as well as the history of the land and the family that claimed it. The farm originally produced cattle and grain. Both Richard and Ralph recalled memories of their childhood on the farm and the way their family cultivated the land. The farm is no longer owned by the Dreessen family, but the brothers expressed that growing up on the land helped to keep their large family connected.
