Rebecca 'Becki' Maldonado discussed activism: before, during, and after the walkout. The walkout led her to running for state government, which she didn't win; however, she strongly believes in teacher involvement in their communities and government. We even talked about 'next steps'--real action we could take to improve the state of education in Oklahoma.
