Description
Rex Evans, a tree surgeon that has lived in Tulsa for many years, came to Tulsa in 1908 on the Frisco train. He discusses early Tulsa, the sports of boyhood, the Depression and why Tulsa eventually grew over Sapulpa, and Tulsa becoming well-known throughout the world. Additionally, he talks about the development of good roads and turnpikes and why people are moving to the suburbs of Tulsa.
