Description
Robert (Bob) Haught, a 1954 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in journalism, worked closely with former Oklahoma Governor and U.S. Senator Henry Bellmon for over sixteen years. He talks about how he became acquainted with him and explains his own career path up to and after working as Bellmon’s press secretary and administrative assistant. Haught discusses some of the more notable moments and some of the people worked with during this time. He comments on how different Bellmon was in comparison to others in similar political positions. Haught also talks about his own career in journalism.
