Ronald Sharp, a 1957 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in animal science, worked in county extension for many years, both specifically with 4-H and as a county director. He talks about his childhood and about his family’s involvement with extension work. Sharp explains how he first became involved with extension work and describes some of the specific responsibilities he had, both as a 4-H agent and as a county director. He discusses the impact of his work on his own life as well as others. He also shares some of his strongest memories of this time in his life.
