Description
Mrs. Roy Morford has been a resident of Oklahoma near the Vici area since 1899. She began teaching in September 1902 in the pioneer school in Dewey County. She discusses her life, school in the early 1900s, the responsibilities of a teacher at school and Christmas and how it was celebrated at school. Additionally, she talks about the schoolhouse and the physical characteristics in the early 1900s and games and amusements of children.
