Sandy Schwinn, a retired schoolteacher, talks about some of the activities that have led to her being fondly referred to as the Butterfly Lady. She explains how she has raised thousands of caterpillars and used them to teach children. Schwinn discusses the various lessons such as learning about the life cycle of butterflies and the importance of preserving natural habitats. She also describes her eco-activism community and her citizen scientist role in Oklahoma.
