Description
Sara Martinez, a Chicana who is highly passionate about Latino and Chicano studies, completed her studies in Latin American literature in Mexico City before returning to Oklahoma in 1999 to become the Hispanic Resource Center coordinator at the Martin Regional Library in Tulsa in 2000. She received her library science degree from the University of Oklahoma and has spent a long time supporting the Latino community through the library's services, as well as holding much knowledge on Hispanic and Latino history in Tulsa.
