Sarah Jane Rodgers, a 1948 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College (OAMC), now Oklahoma State University (OSU), is the daughter of James E. Berry, former lieutenant governor of Oklahoma, and Edwina Morrison Berry, a progressive thinker and lady in her time. Rodgers discusses her early memories growing up in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and her lifelong involvement with the Oklahoma Democratic Party serving as chairman and also as vice president of the National Federation of Democratic Women (NFDW). She also includes recollections of her father's political career, notable political figures, and of the Berry family legacy that has influenced Oklahoma for decades.
