Description
Stanley Henson, Jr. wrestled for Oklahoma A&M College, now Oklahoma State University (OSU), and finished his coursework in 1939 but actually received his degree in 1945. He recalls his early life growing up near Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the son of an oil contractor. Henson discusses attending OSU on a wrestling scholarship, being coached by Coach Gallagher, winning matches, and being involved in other student activities. He also talks briefly about serving in the military, pursuing a medical degree, and establishing his medical practice.
