Description
Steve and Gaynell Hall along with Kay Weyen discussed the history of the South-Hall Ranch, land that was originally acquired through Cherokee heritage. Over the years the farm has produced fruit trees, cattle, and timber, and for a time served as a dairy farm. The current owners described the farmhouse built in the 1880s and the various roles it has served, including as a hospital during the Asian flu epidemic. The interview was conducted in this farmhouse which had been updated and added to and at the time of the interview was continuing to serve as a residence.
