Description
Susan Bize, fourth-generation owner of the Nordstrom Farm, discussed the history of the land and the family that claimed it in the 1889 Land Run. The farm originally produced kaffir corn, potatoes, oats, as well as wine made from a cultivated vineyard. When the land was owned by Susan's mother, llamas were raised on the farm. At the time of the interview hay was the main product, the farm was surrounded by subdivisions, and Susan was considering selling the land.
