Description
Susie Jackson, a 1948 graduate of Oklahoma A&M College (OAMC) which is now Oklahoma State University, traveled to Ethiopia with her husband, Ben, in 1955 where he put his education in agronomy to good use advancing OAMC's agricultural initiative there. They remained in Ethiopia for a little less than five years. Jackson shares their experiences of living in a very poor country and starting their family there. She discusses their life after returning to the United States.
