Tammy Shirley, a 1982 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in sociology, talks about her initial culture shock as a freshman and gaining a greater understanding of the different types of people in this world. She explains her career in social work and the various programs she worked with in her rural area. She also explains why OSU is such a great place for the development of young students. Shirley represents Coal County in the Cowboys in Every County project.
