Terri Ventress, a two-time graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in chemical engineering, recalls how she became interested in chemical engineering and shares some of her educational experiences. She talks about various jobs in the manufacturing industry and about a few of the challenges being female in a predominantly male work environment. Ventress also discusses her interest and success in competing in the Scottish Highland Games. She describes her strength training as well as her focus on service and mentorship for clients and young engineers in the engineering field.
