Thep Phongparnich, from Thailand, earned a doctorate in agricultural education from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in 1978. He discusses how he came to attend OSU, his impression of Stillwater, and his take on a few of his professors. He also talks about his career with Maejo University in Thailand teaching and advancing to the position of president and his role in introducing the cowboy mascot. He is a recipient of the OSU Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award and shares his thoughts on that honor.
