Description
Tom Borland is a 1955 graduate of Oklahoma A & M College, now Oklahoma State University (OSU) and a retired professional baseball player. He talks about his early life in McAlester, Oklahoma, and excelling at baseball and basketball, although to a lesser degree. Borland recalls being recruited to play at OSU by Coach Toby Greene and Coach Henry Iba, better known as Mr. Iba. He discusses his time as a student at OSU and being a college athlete. Borland also shares a few of his memorable high school and college game experiences and tells about his career in both the Minor and Major Leagues.
