Vena Teel 03/01/2011

Vena (Werhan) Teel was born in 1931 in Dill City, Oklahoma. She and her three sisters helped their family farm cotton, wheat, milo and raise livestock while they were growing up in Southwestern Oklahoma. In May 1951 Vena married Travis Teel and began helping him farm. After raising their three children, Vena began working in the office of Dill City Cotton Gin. She retired in 1999 after working there for twenty-five years.
