Description
Walter Hackney, a 1959 graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in agriculture, recalls his youth and contracting polio which altered his career trajectory. He discusses transferring to OSU, being a member of a national champion livestock judging team, and having a terrific advisor in Dr. Robert Totusek. Hackney shares memories of participating in loading a bull into a Student Union elevator, of carrying twenty-three hours his last semester, and getting his first job after graduating. He also talks about his successful career.
